Primer Blog: Soul People

So, my first Blog, numero uno... Yes, I've had this for months and haven't written a single word on it, but let's change that....sorry, I forgot about it.

I think I'm going to use this space as an avenue for vulnerability. I am rarely defenseless. I have a very thick skin that I take pride in. The only people that I let in are family and very close friends... Some exes have been able to penetrate, no pun intended (LOL), but have been kicked back outside that door. Most often they want to get back in, but they remain knocking at the impenetrable gate. There is only one ex that I have, and even though he is standing outside that gate, he gets to speak to me through an open window. The other two are being watched outside by my Dominican guards with rifles, ready to snap and take their money if they act up. By the way, I've only had 3 boyfriends, J, L, and J2. Two of the three I thought were soul mates.

So I want to talk about Soul mates:
I've had this conversation about soul mates with people before and have heard many different opinions on them. My belief is that there are many soul mates that one may come across in a lifetime and they all don't have to be romantic.
By definition from Wikipedia: Soulmate (or soul mate) is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, friendship, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality and/or compatibility.
I think it's possible to connect with people on different levels and I've been fortunate to have some of those connections, but just how people fall in and out of Love, you can connect and then the connection can fizzle. Some people have said that you only get one soul mate in life...

Maybe because I'm a Gemini I think there can be multiple soul mates... I don't know
